We have been issuing Solar Condition Advisories since March 26, these solar conditions have now produced eruptions that have the potential to trigger significant Geomagnetic Storm activity over the next few days. Based upon the latest developments, we are now issuing a Geomagnetic Storm Advisory. The Solar conditions are also such that further eruptions may lead to prolonged Space Weather conditions that could result in especially long-duration storms and GIC exposure to power systems and transformer equipment.
