This Advisory contains a Solar and Geomagnetic Storm Advisory for March 19, 2003. Geomagnetic storms are possible over the next few days beginning ~12UT March 19, 2003. Geomagnetic storms, if they develop, may be coincident with heightened power grid security concerns that are due to the present nature of geo-political developments. Therefore, we are providing this advisory in part to assist in the accurate and early identification of power system anomalous activity that may be due to naturally occurring geomagnetic storm events as opposed to intentional attacks.
